‘[I sit high and look low on the heavens and earth]’ are the words of the Father to us as children.Whether you believe Him and in Him or not,He still sits high and looks low on you;on all of us. Your unbelief does not change who He is or what He does.

This Word has forever fascinated me.Imagine!He sits high,above,over everything and He looks down on the affairs of men; that includes you and I.He even sits above the heavens!He watches over us.He is concerned about what concerns us.

Has worry consumed your mind lately?Have you found yourself between a rock and a hard place? Have you come to the end of yourself?

Well,the awesome news is that there is an incredible Father up above who is sitting high and looking down on you;not in disdain,not in horror but He is looking down on you in love.He is looking down on you with grace. He is looking down on you with mercy.He is looking down on you with favour.He is looking down on you with compassion.He is looking down on you,willing to help you if you would allow Him.

Don’t continue to struggle on your own.You don’t have to.You do not need to.There is a God who is watching over you and is beckoning to you,saying:’Come unto me all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest’.

He is calling out to you saying:’I am God.I sit high and look low on your affairs.I see your hurts,your tears.I see you crying and I feel your heart.Why do you worry,when all power belong to me?
I hear your prayer and I want you to know it is not in vain.’

‘Is there anything too hard for me?  Sarah had forgotten about my faithfulness in the past,yet I still came through.The children of Israel lost count of my love,yet I came through.
Search no further!I am God;the One who sits on the throne.I sit high and look low.My ears are not too deaf nor dull to hear and save nor my hands or arms too short to deliver.I will never leave you nor will I forsake you.Be still.Be still and know that I am God’.

Be in agreement with what heaven says.Speak over yourself and say:’there isn’t anything too hard for my God.He is sitting high and looking low.He will come to my rescue’.

 God is higher than anything and anyone,
    outshining everything you can see in the skies.
Who can compare with God, our God,
    so majestically enthroned,
Surveying his magnificent
    heavens and earth?
He picks up the poor from out of the dirt,
    rescues the wretched who’ve been thrown out with the trash,
Seats them among the honored guests,
    a place of honor among the brightest and best.
He gives childless couples a family,
    gives them joy as the parents of children.
