Do you sometimes sit to think about your end and the impact you will have wanted to make but didn’t? If you had the opportunity to sit at your own funeral, listening to people talk about the life you lived, what are the words you will love to hear about you? When you stand before the Great Judge, what do you wish the outcome to be?

When I die, I want to be remembered as a woman who served God with all her heart, body and soul, lived a life of service to humanity, served as a true helpmeet, friend and partner in destiny to her visionary husband, built a godly home with her hands, raised children in the fear of God, honoured her family and every person God sent her way, was proactive and worked in harmony with others to yield excellent results.

When I die, I want to be remembered as the caring and compassionate woman, the faithful and loving wife, the dedicated and exemplary homemaker, the committed and effective mother, and the beautiful at heart daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, and friend; the interdependent and cooperative business partner, colleague, employee; One who was there for others in great and not so great moments with an open heart, a listening ear and a giving heart.

When I die, I want to be remembered as a woman whose life beamed the light of love, left an imprint in the hearts of men and a legacy for generations and generations to come.

What do U want to be remembered for?

When you have the end in mind, you will use every day as an opportunity to work towards having that end goal accomplished. When you have the end in mind, you will choose paths that lead to righteousness. When you have the end in mind, every time you want to act against the very principle of truth and integrity you uphold, you will pause for a minute and see the end from the beginning: ‘is this what I want to be remembered for? Is this the eulogy I want said on that final day?’ When I die, above all else, I want to hear God say ‘Well done!’

~If the words of God through me carry the power to cause you to look deep within you and ask for a change of heart, then I am glad I have lived a life of success and fulfilled purpose.

PS: I’m not dying just yet. Neither are you. Lol. It is great to sit and reminisce about the future, after all is said and done. Some of us don’t want to hear God say ‘depart from me…I didn’t know you…’
