One day, the world will wake up and hear of your greatness! Even if you started from the bottom, don’t intend to stay there! Be relentless about achieving your purpose! There’s more to you than what you, they see right now!
In the process….challenges will come, you may have to do some odd jobs to, “keep body inside clothes”, like Krio people would say. Some may laugh at you thinking you have come to your wit’s end… but if you have faith, are intentional, relentless and disciplined, there’s nothing you can’t achieve! Ask me, as a child, life was bliss! As an adult, I have had lots of fights, but I’m not the one to ever give up on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd go unless it’s DIY, even with IKEA’s simplest drawers (yeah…😂)
I believe on working smart and achieving purpose. Forget about whether people ‘support’ you or not! With God on your side, you’re more than a conqueror!
Go on and be intentional about not staying at the bottom!!! Have Faith…Be Disciplined. Be Relentless…
“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat.”
Welcome to a New Year! The past year has been challenging for many of us, however, we would not let it stand in the way of our greatness this year.
No matter what you have been through, life is giving you another opportunity to be great. And whilst you’re on your journey to greatness, remember that you do not have to be great to get started, but you have to get started in order to be great as Les Brown puts it.
The human mind is like a piece of land in the hands of a farmer. It does not care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant. What are you planting on your piece of land?
On the way to greatness, you can either plant success or failure. Whatever you plant, remember that that it is what you will yield during harvest. Now go on and plant; go and be great because above all things, God wishes that you prosper and be in good health just as your soul prospers! Blessed New Year!
The moment I truly realised that time is for learning, time is for building, time is for growing, time is for making money, time is for knowledge acquisition, time is for doing things to stay healthy body, soul & mind, I stopped wasting time on frivolous things & people who add little or no value to time!
Be so busy achieving your goals, living your dreams, building your empire, serving in love, making your money, so that at the end of the day, you will be proud that you used your time effectively!
What are you doing with time? How well are you using time? Like the popular adage says, ‘ time waits for no man’! Use it wisely. Use it well.
Nations are mourning, cities on lockdown, people running helter skelter on panic-mode and in hopes of survival, dead bodies laid in hospitals, churches and mortuaries. Simply put, life as it was is no longer the same.
The emergence of the corona virus, also known as COVID-19 has severely impacted not just the health of of hundreds of thousands, but the economy, the educational system and more.
Amidst all these, it is so easy to become wrapped up in fear, anxiety and depression. But, if you’re reading this, I want to encourage you to fear not, for Emmanuel is still with us. His grace is extended to us everyday and He will continually shield us. Even though we will have tribulations and troubles in this world, we must take heart knowing that He has overcome the world (John 16.33).
Just as the angel of death passed through the land of Egypt and struck down the firstborn of every household but spared homes that been marked with blood, so shall this plague pass over our homes. Believe! Be still and know that He is God. Even in times of trouble, He is still God with us!
Envy is an evil disease. When you see your neighbour prospering, embrace their success. Before they arrived at their current destination, they perhaps had to make unimaginable sacrifices. They probably cried a million unknown tears. They even may have had scars embedded within their soul on the course of the journey. You just may never know the cost of their success. So, rather than envying that individual, why not rejoice with/for them? Why not trust God that He will bless you in the manner He seems fit?
Remember that safe people don’t take pleasure in envy. They are genuinely grateful for the good in another’s life in spite of it all!
If the person around you is making progress, be encouraged by their success. Use their story as a driving force and catapult to achieving your own goals.
PS: Safe People by Psychologists Drs Cloud & Townsend is a must read.
